Vertical Pump from City Water Treatment Plant at local contractors facility for repairs.

Application Method

January 2006: Lost metal replaced with Belzona® 1111. Strength added to casing by welding steel stiffeners to outside of casing.

April 2008: Pump back in shop for vibration. Old repairs inspected. Minor damage found. Minor damaged repaired with Belzona® 1221 and NSF approved Belzona® 1341 applied over Belzona® 1221.

Customers alternative was replacement. Contractor estimated replacement cost to be $10k to $12k. Lead time of 12 weeks. The Belzona solution cost $900.
