Проблема: The problem was a pin hole leak that was found on a 2" pipe around the weld seam of an elbow, caused by external corrosion. This was an LDHI transfer line on an offshore platform in the Gulf of Mexico. Operating Temperature is 100F and Design Pressure of 150psi. A quick and compliant repair was desired by client to stop the leak and continue normal operations.

SuperWrap II Trained personnel onboard a platform in the Gulf of Mexico were asked by the asset owner to repair a LDHI Transfer Line that had a leak. SW II was easily accessible, compliant, and effective option for the situation.

Способ применения

1. Fill in defect with 9611 to stop leak
2. Power tool clean to bare metal - SSPC-11
3. Repair pitting with Belzona 9611 and Belzona 1161.
4. Apply 3 wraps of SW II - 1982/9381(84mm). 10" total axial extent of repair.
