Problem: A leak had developed in a storage tank due to corrosion.

Application Situation

No hot works were possible in the area due to the tank's location. A cold applied repair was required to repair this leak long term.

Application Method

The area was prepared with an MBX Bristle Blaster to SSPC SP11. A cold plate bond was then applied using Belzona 1111. This plate was then encapsulated with Belzona Superwrap 2

This repair was carried out in 1.5 days, allowing a fast return to service for the customer
