Application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5.
Belzona Facts
After postponing repairs for 4-5 years, the basin was leaking enough to force the issue. After surface preparation by grit blasting, there were many pin holes, but all were too small to allow the Belzona® 5811 to leak through so an impervious surface was achieved. Two cooling tower basins were protected in cold weather by placing heaters below the basin, and a tarpaulin across the top, so raising the interior temperature to 65°F (18°C).
