Alternative solutions involved the relaying of concrete, which would be a costly and time-consuming process and wouldn't help mitigate the source of the problem - resistance to the 98% Sulphuric acid.

Application Method

The application was carried out as per the instructions for use and the systems leaflet. With the application onto the concrete done when the surface was cooling as to minimise outgassing.

Belzona Facts

Belzona was able to offer a material that is able to withstand the harsh conditions associated with the potential exposure to the sulphuric acid, while negating the need to replace the concrete.
