Application Situation

Internal lining of a wheat starch milk tank in a factory

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet TCC-5. The tank was previously grit blasted to remove the rust before applying 2 coats of Belzona 5892. Small retouches were made before the coating system was post-cured with steam.

Belzona Facts

The remplacement of the tank would have cost ‎€1,000,000 whereas the Belzona repair was 10 times less (€100,000). The customer was quick to chose Belzona as the previous competitor coatings have failed.
