Belzona repairs & protects Phosphoric Acid Bund

Problem: The previous coating within the bund had been corroded away leaving the underlying concrete susceptible to damage. A long term repair & protective solution was required.
Application Situation
A bund containing several pumps had become severely corroded due to Phosphoric acid leaks. Significant sections of concrete had been affected by the acid.Application Method
The bund was prepared using a high pressure wash. This removed the damaged sections of concrete & decontaminated the remaining concrete.Belzona 4911 TX Conditioner was applied followed by Belzona 4131 Magma Screed to bring the corroded areas back up to the original floor level.
Two coats of Belzona 4341 CR4 were then applied for long term acid protection.
