Suction part of a hydro turbine from a hydroelectric plant

Procédé d'application

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know How System Leaflet ENC-11 .
After preparing the surface by grit blasting, the hydraulic profile of the equipment was rebuilt from the inside using Belzona 1311. Two coats of Belzona 1331 were then applied to provide a long-term protection against erosion and corrosion. On the outside of the equipment, patches of SuperWrap were used to recover the mechanical strength of the equipment.

The customer was really happy with this quick application which only took 4.5 days.
