Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System leaflet WPA-4. All areas of damaged concrete were removed back to a sound substrate after which the exposed reinforcement bars were also cleaned back to bright metal. The entire area was then coated with Belzona 4911 (TX Conditioner) before the area was rebuilt with Belzona 4111. Some temporary shuttering to help support the repair whilst it cured was installed. once cured, the shuttering was removed and the area painted to leave a pleasing aesthetic finish.
Belzona 4111 was chosen for its superior properties over conventional repair methods. Being a fast curing, non shrinking and impermeable layer that allows for a quick easy repair that also prevents a recurrence of the initial problem.
