問題: Customer had 3 large Trane chillers, about 30 years of age. Due to inefficiency of older models, the Customer is gradually replacing them with new models.

1. Corks were added before blasting. Then the unit was blasted.

2. More corks were added then ground down flush since the copper tubes were flush with the sheet. All seams were sealed with 1121.

3. Care was taken to seal the ends of the inserts so no water could enter during operation and cause rusting from the inside out.

4. Both ends of the chiller and the water boxes were coated and the corks were blown out and the tubes cleaned out to turn over to the owner.

New chillers required protection before being put into service.

塗布方法

The application was carried out in accrodance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets HEX-1, HEX-2, and HEX-3. Belzona 1121 was use to seal all the seams before coating, Belzona 1321 was applied in two coats after Belzona 1121 was cured. The product was applied by hand. Corks were inserted before blasting then again before coating to protect the copper tubes. The water boxes were also coated.
