Application Situation
Cooling Tower Floor was corroded away.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets HEX-12 and GSS-3. The floor was abrasive blasted and new sheet metal cold plate bonded in place with Belzona® 1121. The seams were sealed with Belzona® 3121. Two coats of Belzona® 5811 were applied over the cold well surfaces.

Replacement of the tower was over $75,000. Repairs were made for $10,000 in Belzona.
