Prior to the Belzona solution, the client had to replace the pump components annually. As a significant local electricity supplier, downtime of this critical equipment caused major problems.

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets CEP-1, CEP-3 and CEP-4.

The customer was surprised that the eroded equipment could be repaired and delighted with the vastly improved reliability and performance. The pump casing and suction bell were also coated and protected internally and externally. After 9 years in service, the coating was found to still be in excellent condition.
