Problem: The laundry floor of this hospital was not level and water was gathering in the middle of the floor. They needed the floor to be re-levelled so that water ran to the drains. The floor also had to be safe from accidents.

Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-1. Existing floor was cut out to create a fall and then screeded over with Belzona® 4131. This was then overcoated with Belzona® 5231.
Belzona Facts
The use of Belzona® 4131 allowed falls to be created with minimum disruption to hospital operations. the Belzona® 5231 provided a safe surface for operatives in the laundry. The hospital are now currently looking at improving the safety throughout the building utilising Belzona solutions.
