Problem: During the processing of the products, the rubber was damaged.

The damaged part of the rubber had to be removed.

The damaged part was not large.

The product Belzona 1212 and 1111 was used as a filler.

Ready for production.

Application Situation

The damaged part of the rubber in the dryer caused interruption of operation and damage to the products that were processed in the dryer.

Application Method

Removing the degraded part of the dryer's rubber padding. Mechanical cleaning of the surface using power tools. Vacuuming of abraded places with an industrial vacuum cleaner. Surface degreasing with Belzona 9121. Filling the space after removing the degraded part with sealants Belzona 1212 (1kg) and Belzona 1111 (1kg). Application of Belzona 2911 conditioner (QD Conditioner) to the prepared surface. A layer of Belzon 2111 (D+A HI – Build) was applied to the activated surface.

Belzona Facts

Downtime caused by rubber damage cost the customer a lot of money. Therefore, it was necessary to make a quick and relatively cheap repair.
