Problem: The client has had consistent water ingress issues from the aluminium gutters, despite repeated attempts to seal the gutter joints and seams with silicone and bitumen products. The showroom area has suffered water damage on a regular basis.

Application Situation
Client is the owner of a large interior furnishings showroom, with the premises now approaching 15 years of age.
Application Method
After thorough cleaning and drying of the substrate, application was carried out according with Belzona System Leaflet RPA-6. Belzona 3921 (GSC surface conditioner) was used to give optimum adhesion and a fully reinforced system incorporating Belzona 9311 (Reinforcing sheet) in the Belzona 3111 first coat was applied.

After "quick fix" alternatives of silicone and bitumen patching had failed, the client realised a Project orientated approach with a reputable system applied to the entire 95lm of gutters would offer a long term solution, and thus result in the best value protection for his asset.
