- Typical Belzona anchor 2008
Application Situation
New construction of arena floor used for hockey and other events contained threaded anchors for sporting furniture.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet FPA-10. The floor was laid out to expose the more than 700 anchor locations. The concrete chipped out to expose the anchors. Release agent treated all-thread was used to form anchor thread in the Belzona® 4111.
Belzona Facts
There was no other easy way to restore the floor quickly except replace the entire floor. Previous experience with the building manager & the NHL at another St. Louis location proved that Belzona® 4111 would work. Time was short so that a fast solution was needed to meet the buildings opening schedule. Anchors are still effective 15 years on.
