Application Situation
Ball Mill used to grind limestone for cement production.
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with modified versions of Belzona Know How Leaflet GSS-9 and VPF-2.
Belzona Facts
The Belzona was chosen in order to prolong the life of tubular screw conveyor. The customer had used different epoxy-based products to solve the problem but with limited success. Welding was not considered due to high cost and stress buildup. The Belzona solution proved to be much easier and faster to apply saving the plant more than 5000 euros in replacement and maintenance costs.
