Application Situation
Fifteen ton gearbox from ball mill used to pulverize coal.
Application Method
The application was carried out in accordance with the Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5. Special attention was paid to surface preparation, particularly with regard to removing all impregnated oil and achieving correct grit blast profile.
Belzona Facts
Decision to use Belzona was based on testing that demonstrated its toughness and resistance to hot oil. Previous use of the product in military gearboxes was another key factor for client.
