Проблема: Once opened and inspected it was decided to replace the lower 1 meter of the existing coating before putting the tank back into service. MIC (microbiologically induced corrosion) was affecting the bottom of the tank and causing local pitting of the steel.

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflets TCC-3 and TCC-5. after rebuilding deep pits with Belzona paste grade rebuilding product, Belzona 1391S was applied using heated airless spray with Belzona 1391T applied by brush as a stripe coat.
