Application Method

The substrate was first grit blasted to ensure a good mechanical bond with the product. Belzona 1111 was then used to rebuild the cover and the flange according to a modified version of Belzona System Leaflet HEX-02. Finally, the 2 parts of this equipment were machined back to the correct dimensions.

The customer needed a cold applied solution as no hot work was authorised on this equipment.
