Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflets ENC-7 & GSS-2. An effective sealing solution was found by bonding the rubber gasket into position using Belzona® 2211. Casing defects were rectified using Belzona® 1111.
Belzona Facts
Considerable savings resulted with stopping oil leakage: 14000 litres of oil per year, resulting in direct (oil) cost savings of €21k per year. The reliability of the Belzona repair saved the need for the regular repairs to the joints saving a further €6k. And essentially to the plant, safety was improved in the area due to the lack of leaking oil.
