Problem: The stuffing box of the pump experienced erosion and corrosion, leading to pitting damage on the internal surfaces and impacting performance.

Application Situation

A repair utilizing a combination of Belzona rebuild-grade materials and a subsequent lining with Belzona ceramic coating enhanced protection and extended the asset's operational lifespan.

Application Method

Belzona 1121 and Belzona 1321 were applied following the guidelines of Belzona System Leaflets CEP-01 and CEP-03.
The corroded areas were rebuilt manually using a stiff bristle brush and the provided plastic applicator, in accordance with the approved IFU.
