Application Situation
Customer had received a violation certificate for cracks in the floor and damage to a rubber membrane beneath a chemical plating facility
Application Method
Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets FPA-3, -5 & -6. Rubber membrane was sealed with Elastomer and low retaining wall (pony wall) was constructed.
Belzona Facts
This was an emergency situation because of the high risk hazardous chemicals used in the plating facility. Because of the high degree of compatibility between the Belzona products the various stages of the application could be completed in rapid succession saving many hours of downtime.
This application, though deemed temporary at the time has been in service for 10 years without the need for any maintenance.
