Belzona protective coating from around 2006 was due for a refurbishment

Spiral casing was grit blasted back to profile, using 2.5 tons of grit.

Belzona 1111 was used to reprofile heavily pitted areas prior to coating of Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide)

Two coats of Belzona 1341 (Supermetalglide) was applied to Spiral casing.

Application Situation
Customer was highly satisfied with the performance of the original Belzona 1341 system and requested the same system be reapplied.

Reprofiling was conducted on heavily corroded areas using Belzona 1111 before a two-coat system of Belzona 1341 was applied.
Application Method
The project involved working in confined spaces with limited access, using 2.5 tons of grit to remove the old lining and achieve the correct profile and cleanliness.
