Problem: Secondary fuel (SBS) is the end product in the processing of household waste, household-type commercial waste and commercial waste in mechanical, mechanical-biological and mechanical-physical processing plants. The request from the OEM was to ensure the screw flights and trough feed has a sacrifical lining to protect the substrate prior to going into application.

Belzona 1812 was applied on the screw flights and shaft.

Application Situation
A request from a major OEM to protect the screw flights and trough was required for approx 100sqm area for a local power plant. From the bunker via a rotating discharge system and two discharge screw conveyors. The feeding lines will be operated independently of each other.
Application Method
The Belzona 1812 was applied to both the screw flights and trough in accordance with Belzona system leaflet SHM-14.
