Application Situation

Hot works were not permitted in the area. A cold applied system was needed to restore integrity

Application Method

The area was grit blasted to SA2.5 & 75 microns. The metal surface was then wetted out. Doubler plates were then bonded either side of the defect & clamped to avoid slumping. Once cured the full area was painted.

The repair was completed in one day with much less disruption to site operations than traditional repair methods. The corrosion resistance & high bond strength of Belzona 7311 makes it ideal for this environment.
