Application Situation
This opportunity involves an existing customer whose centrifugal pumps and pulpers are experiencing abrasive wear. We provided the customer with technical datasheets solely for Belzona 9811 to showcase its effectiveness.
Application Method
In response, we incorporated the use of Belzona 9811 Alumina Tiles, significantly extending the protection lifespan by four times compared to Belzona 1812 and Belzona 1321. Despite the enhanced durability, the service cost remains similar to the previous solutions. To implement this improvement, we used Belzona 1311 (8KG), Belzona 1321 (1.5KG), Belzona 9811 (1m²) & Belzona 1812 (8KG). The customer had contemplated replacing the separator technology due to the inadequacy of Belzona 1812 and Belzona 1321 in terms of durability and cost-effectiveness.
Belzona Facts
The customer considered replacing the separator technology but it’s very expensive. For this recurring application, we safeguarded two pieces of equipment with this solution, costing 7,000€. Importantly, this solution can be applied across various industries utilising separators.
