Application Situation

6 Centrifugal Pump Impellers at an O&M company.

Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with a modified version of Belzona Know-How System Leaflet CEP-1, after thorough surface preparation and cleaning, the damaged parts of the impeller were rebuilt with Belzona 1311. Then Belzona 1341 was used to provide protection before Belzona 2141 was applied to protect from cavitation.

Belzona Facts

This customer had previously been replacing the damaged impellers every 6 to 8 months. Upon hearing about the Belzona solutions and seeing examples of it in action, they agreed to try this application instead of replacing the impeller every time.
