Application Situation

The medium is seawater. The seawater environment would cause corrosion of the cast iron substrate. In order to effectively protect the substrate from corrosion, Belzona 5821 anti-corrosion coating was used to prevent corrosion of the flow-passing parts of the pump casing.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System leaflet CEP-03.

Belzona 5821 has excellent seawater resistance and can provide long-term and effective protection for seawater pumps. The cast iron + Belzona 5821 solution replaces the expensive antiseptic metal material, which greatly reduces investment costs and reduces the cost of replacing spare parts in the later stages of pump operation.
