Problem: Customer was taking apart dredge apparatus after being in service continuously for over 6 years. Piping was heavily eroded with multiple through-wall holes (not pictured). Customer needed to get dredge apparatus back to work on contract within 1 month. Customer chose Belzona for a repair and coat system rather than spending several hundred thousand on new equipment.

Application Method

Dredge pipes were cleaned and blasted to SSPC-SP10 for surface prep. The through-wall holes were rebuilt with Belzona 1311/9341 and then entire pipe internals were coated with Belzona 1814.
