Problem: Stainless Steel pipe carrying sewage water with polymer particles was cracked and leaking. Customer was convinced after extensive scrutiny and technical support.

Application Situation

Customer was having issues with a wrap system being used for repairs as it does not adhere properly and has poor performance against steam and chemicals at elevated temperature. Belzona Super wrap II was introduced to customer and application was carried out by the consultant with the maintenance team in attendance and helping out.

Application Method

Surface preparation was carried out using Acetone to clean the surface of the pipe before power tool cleaning. The surface was again cleaned with Acetone and allowed to dry. Then, Belzona 1212 was applied and allowed to stabilize. Afterwards, the Belzona Superwrap II system was installed and consolidated.

Belzona 1212 and Superwrap did not only surpass customers' imagination during application but also after it was put to service 24hours later. Customer acknowledged its superiority in terms of performance over previously used wrap systems.
