Application Situation

The operating temperature was ambient. Wind farms were very windy and the sealing surface of the wind turbine was heavily abraded.

Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How leaflets FBC-05. Surface preparation was carried out by grinding with an angle grinder, followed by repair and protection of the sealing surfaces with Belzona 1311.

After four months of use, no leaks were seen in the inspection and the client was very satisfied with the results. This solution greatly reduced the cost of replacement for the client, as well as downtime.
