Problem: The customers old steel chutes and hoppers was experiencing abrasion damage caused by impact of small wood particles.

Application Situation

The customers was having an issue due to an abrasive environment caused by the small wood particles.

Application Method

The new chutes and hoppers had been blasted to an SSPC-SP10 near white finish c/w a 3mil depth profile, cleaned by using a vacuum, than degreased with Belzona 9111, and than Belzona 1812 was applied to the prepared surface at a thickness of 0.12"
