Application Situation

Live leak situation and area of mill could not be shut down. The customer needed an effective and quick solution. Shut down would have cost time and money

Application Method

Area prepped with bristle blaster and leak stopped with Belzona 9611. The repair was then consolidated with Belzona 1212 and the 9341 reinforcement mesh for higher pressure retention and a more long term repair.

Completing a live leak repair allowed our client to keep running and not stop the process. Saving valuable time and money. The Belzona 9611/1212 system allowed the leak to be sealed live and fast. Belzona 1212 was beneficial as it cured fully in a matter of hours, needed minimal surface preparation, and was tolerant to wet substrate at time of application.
