Problem: Belzona Superwrap II structural reinforcement system, under ASME PCC-2 standard, for 20 meters of buried pipe. This particular pipe was carrying ammonia. The pipe was experiencing pitting and wear and tear.

Application Situation

The client has a large number of ammonia lines whose use is continuous, with the impossibility of stopping to replace sections of pipes with corrosion problems.

Application Method

The product was applied according to its respective Instructions for Use and leaflet documentation.

The client was largely interested in the speed of installation, the fact that the pipe did not have to be depressurized or made inert, and the warranty offered.
