Problem: The customer approached Belzona's UK Distributorship to provide a quotation for the internal and external application of Belzona systems to a two-piece header box assembly. Reinstating any minor internal pitting and restore the surfaces to their original profile. Following this preparation, a two-coat application of Belzona 1341 will be applied to all internal ‘wet’ surfaces.

Application Situation
Internal pitting inside the header box bringing back to surface profile and restore the surfaces to their original profile. External weld areas also required filleting to bring back to profile and create a smooth finished application. The external was also to be coated using Belzona 5811 to provide long-term corrosion protection
Application Method
Grit blasting surfaces to minimum surface profile, two coats of Belzona 1341 was applied to the internal of the header box. To cover weld areas on the external of the box, weld areas were filleted with Belzona 1111, then two coats of Belzona 5811 were applied to the external of the boxes.
