Problem: Customer had the legs and weir painted 4 years previous and encountered corrosion due to failure in competition paint.

Belzona 5811DW2 has arrived on site.

Application started on clarifier. The whole clarifier is covered with plastic.

Application Situation

The Belzona was offered on a more long term solution for the client. We touched up minimally this year (2025) and will probably do a complete coat job in 3 years from now (2028).

Application Method

The entire clarifier was covered and the legs and weir were sandblasted per Belzona specs. Contractor cleaned and installed 2 coats of Belzona 5811DW2 manually by brush.

Belzona was used because of its outstanding long-term solutions. Previous coating lasted 4 years. This client has 3 units that were completed with Belzona 5811DW2.
