Application Situation
Main shaft, 160 mm diameter, 1000 rpm.
Application Method
After blasting the surface, Belzona® 1341 was applied in one coat. Belzona® 2941 conditioner was used to tie in the Belzona® 2141 system.
Belzona Facts
The application was carried out on the shaft in a lathe and the finish was obtained by using a rubber squeegee. Inspection of the Belzona® 2141 in 2007 and 2010 showed the system still in perfect condition.
