Application Situation

This dehydrator needed full internal protection, which included a Belzona fit-for-service lining and Belzona inserts for small bore nozzles. The vessel was designed for operating temperature levels of 20C (68F) minimum, 58 C (136 F) normal, and 70 C (158 F) maximum. The chemical service was crude oil, water and sour gas.

Application Method

Application was carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflet TCC-5 and TCC-16b . Pre-formed nozzle inserts were fabricated and bonded into small bore nozzles to ensure continuity of protection.

Using the Belzona internal coating and nozzle inserts solution, the vessel will have a longer service life.
