Problem: The rubber protection on the fan cover was damaged.

In terms of cleaning the cover from acids, it was necessary to wash and blast the cover several times.

Temperature control during coating curing in the oven.

After applying Belzona 1392.

Application Situation

Renewing the rubber coating was technically difficult to implement and too expensive for the customer.

Application Method

Removal of old damaged rubber coating. Blasting the inner surface of the cover according to the Sa2.5 standard to a minimum profile of 75 microns. Multiple degreasing, cleaning, blasting. Application of protective coating system Belzona 1392. Curing of the material in the oven at a temperature of 50°C.

The main advantage of renewing the surface protection of the fan cover was that the Belzona solution was immediately available to the customer, without unnecessary delays in the production process.
