Problem: The drive shaft yoke bolts failed, allowing the yoke to strike the transmission casing as the drive shaft continued rotating. The repeated contact caused significant wear and eventually created a hole approximately 4 inches by 6 inches in the casing, compromising its integrity and requiring repairs.

Application Situation

The owner of Lunshof Equipment searched Belzona on the web and sent a request from the the Belzona web-sender. I made contact by calling Lunshof Equipment and setting up an appointment to review the casing damage, I offered the solution and provided a cost and the owner agreed to make the purchase for the cost was just under a $1000.00

Application Method

Belzona 9111 was used to clean the area after preparation by using grinders and placing a screen using self tapping screws to hold the screen in place, tooling used was large working surfaces, spatula's and applicators for mixing and applying the 1161 and 9341.

The owner decided to use Belzona for the 1161 product was surface tolerant and was able to go back into service with a couple of days
