Problem: The filter tank was leaking in several areas. The base of the tank had very thin walls. It was in such bad shape it was unsafe to do the repairs from the inside.

Application Situation

They chose Belzona because of the short down. To replace the tank would have been very expensive and a long down time that would shut the plant down,

Application Method

The area around the bottom of the tank was cleaned and Belzona 4111 was applied around the base of the tank. The metal was prepped any wet area we used Belzona 9611 to stop the leaks and Belzona 1161 and reinforcing cloth was used to fill in any voids and holes. then 1982 Superwrap was used around the bottom part of the tank to cover the 1161.
