Problem: Gas line was suffering from wall thickness loss due to internal corrosion. A thin wall defect of dimensions 2.1x2.4x0.25" was detected on a section of the pipework.

Application Method
Repair was completed by validated applicators. Three wraps of the composite material were applied onto the damaged area to a maximum thickness of 9.16 mm and an axial extent of 400mm.
Belzona Facts
The asset owner was so pleased with the outcome of the repair that they decided to have two other sections of the same pipeline repaired with the Belzona SuperWrap composite system.
