Application Situation
The client had been temporarily sealing the leak with tape. The Belzona Authorized Distributor recommended a plate bonding repair using Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) as an engineered solution to restore the tank panel while remaining suitable for potable water service.
Application Method
The repair was carried out while the tank was shut down. The metal plate was installed using Belzona 1111 (Super Metal) after the surface was grit blasted to achieve the minimum required surface profile and cleanliness.
