Problem: Rebar was being attacked by moisture and causing it to spall.

Before repainting the firehall the customer needed to make sure that the walls were repaired.

All loose areas were removed.

After patching the area using Belzona 4111 magma quartz an angle grinder and sanding disc were used to achieve smoothness and a good transition between the old and new coating.

Once smoothed out, the area was left for the painting crew to repaint.

Application Situation

Concrete would have taken longer to cure and not offered the same properties as Belzona 4111.

Angle grinder, trowels and sanding discs were used to prep and apply
