Application Situation

New build flagship car showroom

Application Method

The application was carried out in accordance with Belzona System Leaflet FPA-3. The newly laid floor was allowed to dry out thoroughly before being prepared for coating by diamond grinding to remove surface laitence. After vacuuming to remove dust, the floor was coated with two coats of Belzona 5231.

Belzona 5231 was chosen for its durability, hard wearing properties and inbuilt grip system that minimised potential slip issues for cars and people. Its fast application and cure time meant that the showroom was finished in time for the scheduled opening.
