Problem: The expansion joints were leaking water into storage rooms underneath the parking garage when it rained.

Application Situation
By using Belzona, the expansion joints will last longer than ordinary joint filler. Also, the items stored in the storage rooms underneath the expansion joints will not have water damage.
Application Method
The old material in the expansion joints were removed. Then the joints were taped off. Then new backer-rod was placed in the joints. Then the conditioner ( Belzona 4911) was applied. Then the Belzona filler (4521) was applied to fill the joints.

Belzona was chosen because of the relationship the Director of Engineering had with the Belzona rep. He had confidence in the material and the voice of the rep.
