Problem: Customer had a new tank and wanted to protect the inside with a lining that would protect it from 75% Phosphoric acid thereby extending its service life.

Application Situation
The customer has been using Belzona to protect against concentrated chemicals in the plant on small areas and wanted to give a larger area a trial has the performance has been impressive.
Application Method
The tank and nozzles were blasted to achieve a near white metal finish with a good profile. After the required QA/QC checks, Belzona 4341 was applied to protect the tank and other components from corrosion and offer concentrated chemical resistance.

The customer was satisfied with the performance and has opted for Belzona for all chemical resistance applications on the plant ever since.
