Application Situation
Main engine cooler cover of bulk carrier ship. Customer wanted to repair the cover in short time. Instead of welding repair, Belzona saved time and in addition provided long lasting protection with ceramic coating.
Application Method
Applications were carried out in accordance with Belzona Know-How System Leaflets SOS-01 and SOS-02.

Repairing the equipment with other repair methods (such as welding) would be a long and costly method. Since these damages would occur again even if repaired with welding, the customer wanted to repair the equipment with Belzona and then protect the equipment against future wear and corrosion-erosion damage. We repaired the equipment with Belzona 1111 Super Metal within 1 day and protected it with Belzona 1321 Ceramic S-Metal. In this way, the customer saved both time and money also protected the equipment.
