Application Situation

Both systems are primarily intended for the repair of metal parts in flow systems, ensuring the replacement of the loss of the base material due to erosion, corrosion and cavitation effects, and subsequently providing effective protection against the listed effects.

Application Method

Sealing of the working space under the impellers of the first stage. Drying of the repair area, degreasing of the surface with BELZONA 9121. Blasting of the repaired surfaces to the required standard Sa 2.5 with extraction cleaning of the space and dedusting of the area. Local repair of places and areas where the base material has been lost with BELZONA 1311 Ceramic R Metal. Application of BELZONA 1341 Supermetalglide to the surface to be repaired in two coats with a thickness of min. 500 μm.
